Travelling from Zakynthos town, past Argassi town, you will find a side road that allows you to reach Dafni beach. Right before reaching Dafni, as soon as you enter the road you will find the Caretta Caretta Exhibition Center.
Founded in October 2000, The museum of Helmis Natural History is an ideal place for kids and grown ups. The museum has a collection of more than 1,500 items including birds, fish, shells, plants, rocks and minerals from the Zakynthian coastline.
Located in St. Marco square (adjacent to Dionysios Solomos square) is the museum of two of the most well known Greek poets including Dionysios Solomos (Greece's national poet) and Andreas Kalvos. The museum was founded at the end of 50's and hosts the poets' mausoleum.
Grigorios Xenopoulos was one of the most prominent Greek playwriters. Here, you can view Xenopoulos' original residence where he spent a significant part of his life before moving to Athens for his studies. Various pieces of his work including photographs, novels and manuscripts are on display.
