The Museum of Dionysios Solomos & Andreas Kalvos

Located in St. Marco square (adjacent to Dionysios Solomos square) is the museum of two of the most well known Greek poets including Dionysios Solomos (Greece&;s national poet) and Andreas Kalvos. The museum was founded at the end of 50&;s and hosts the poets&; mausoleum. Here, you can also admire a number of sculptures, musical instruments, pottery and paintings from the 18th and 19th century, portraits of prominent Zakynthians as well as a small collection of local clothing and arms. The museum is open daily from 9.00 to 14.00
